The front air ride for straight axle Ford 4x4 trucks will soften up the harsh ride. What we do is cut the ends off the bottom leaf spring so that it is only about 12" long. Next we place an air bag in between the axle and the side of the frame to carry the weight that the bottom leaf once carried. This allows the air bag to most of the weight therefore dramatically improving the ride. We leave that 12" bottom leaf in place to help counteract axle twist when under extreme braking.
The front system typically takes around 4 to 5 hours for installation.
Average bag pressure runs around 25-30 psi.$1375.00
